How to print UAE bank cheques with ChequeprinterUAE software

Before You Start

What you need: Your cheque book (any UAE bank), a compatible laser printer, and the ChequeprinterUAE software installed on Windows.

Step-by-Step: Printing a Cheque

1

Select your bank

Open the software and choose your bank from the dropdown. The cheque layout loads automatically — the fields are already positioned for your bank's stationery.

2

Enter cheque details

Fill in: Payee name, Amount (in numbers — words fill automatically), and Date. For post-dated cheques, just change the date.

3

Load the cheque into your printer

Use the manual bypass tray (the slot on the side or front of your printer). Place the cheque face-up with the top edge going in first. Do not use the main paper cassette.

Important: Every printer feeds slightly differently. The first time you print on a new printer, do a test print on plain paper held over the cheque to check alignment before printing on the real leaf.
4

Print

Click Print. The software sends the cheque data directly to the printer at the exact coordinates for your bank — no scaling, no page margins to worry about.

5

Verify and sign

Check that all text landed in the correct boxes. Sign the cheque. Done.

Licence & Trial

Trial: The software includes a free trial with a limited number of prints. The print count is shown in the title bar.

Pro licence: Removes the print limit and enables all banks. Enter your email and licence key under Help › Enter Licence Key.

Troubleshooting

Text prints too high / too low

The printer is feeding the cheque slightly differently from calibration. Contact support — we adjust the coordinates for your specific printer model remotely.

Printer says "paper jam" on cheque

Use only the manual bypass tray, not the auto-feed cassette. Some printers also need the paper guides widened to fit a cheque leaf.

Windows SmartScreen warning on install

This appears on new software. Click "More info" then "Run anyway". The software is safe — see first-run instructions.
