Printer selection matters
“Cheque printer” normally means a compatible office printer configured to place the date, payee, amount in words and amount in figures accurately on a bank-issued cheque. It is not enough to choose a printer only because it accepts A4 paper.
Before confirming the package, we check the cheque dimensions, the required feed direction, the usable paper path, the customer’s Windows computer and the printer model currently available. The exact supplied model can therefore vary. Its model and connection options are confirmed with you before payment.
The bank’s pre-printed security elements and MICR line remain on the original cheque leaf. Our software prints only the customer-entered fields. Customers should continue to follow their bank’s cheque and signature requirements.
Each account can have a separate reusable layout. The setup focuses on the exact cheque format you use rather than assuming every cheque from a bank is identical.
