Emirates Islamic Bank Cheque Printing: Complete Setup Guide
Emirates Islamic is a leading Islamic bank in the UAE, offering Sharia-compliant banking for individuals and businesses. Emirates Islamic cheques have a specific format that must align with the pre-printed stationery. Our software handles this automatically.
Does Emirates Islamic Cheque Printing Require Special Software?
Emirates Islamic Bank cheques have a specific field layout — the payee line, amount box, date field, and signature zone are all at fixed positions on the cheque leaf. Generic printing software will not align correctly. You need software pre-loaded with the Emirates Islamic cheque template so every field lands precisely in the right position.
Our package comes with the Emirates Islamic Bank template pre-calibrated. You do not adjust anything — load the cheque, enter the details, print.
Emirates Islamic Cheque Fields — What Gets Printed
- Payee name — printed on the “Pay” line in the correct position
- Amount in figures — printed in the amount box (e.g., AED 5,000.00)
- Amount in words — auto-generated from the figure you enter (e.g., “Five Thousand Dirhams Only”)
- Date — printed in DD/MM/YYYY format in the date field
- Account Payee Only — crossing printed if selected
Nothing is printed over pre-printed elements — the bank logo, MICR line, account number, and branch details are already on your cheque stationery and are left untouched.
Printing PDC Cheques for Emirates Islamic
Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs) are extremely common in UAE — landlords require them for rent, and many suppliers accept 3–6 month PDC batches. With our software you can:
- Enter the amount once and print a batch of 12 cheques with sequential dates
- Set monthly, quarterly, or custom intervals
- Track which PDCs have been presented vs pending
- Print multiple payees in one session
A batch of 12 PDC cheques that would take 30 minutes to write by hand takes under 3 minutes to print.
What Printer Works with Emirates Islamic Cheques?
Any standard laser printer works. You do not need a special MICR printer — UAE banks accept cheques printed on regular laser printers. Our package includes a compact USB laser printer tested and calibrated for Emirates Islamic Bank cheque stationery.
